Fulham owner Khan sees his £1bn stadium construction project take next steps

Owner of Premier League club Fulham, Shahid Khan, is spending £1bn

Owner of Premier League club Fulham, Shahid Khan, is spending £1bn on a major stadium upgrade as he looks to expand his corporate offering.

The Pakistani-American businessman, who is reportedly worth nearly $15bn, will see his team relocated by 150 miles while the works, which will be completed in time for the summer of 2028, get started.

American football franchise Jacksonville Jaguars – who play two of their annual NFL matches in London’s Wembley Stadium – are relocating from Jacksonville to Orlando as their EverBank stadium gets an upgrade in the latest major stadium project in world sport.

The team will remain in Jacksonville for their opening NFL matches before heading south.

And it comes a short couple of years after Khan’s Premier League club Fulham spent a reported £120m on redeveloping the Craven Cottage stand adjacent to the River Thames.

The Riverside Stand is up and operational, and features both £20,000 season tickets and a £900-per-head Michelin guide-approved hospitality offering.

Khan stadium developments continue

“There was a desire on the part of both the Jaguars and the city to stress American-made materials in the building,” Sid Perkins of construction management firm AECOM Hunt, said in a club media post.

“The steel that you see up, structural steel, that’s all American-made. We’ll be looking hard at the finishes to try and utilize all American-made tiles and items inside to create our finish.

“The Jaguars and the city have provided us with the opportunity to put a whole lot of local tradesmen in there. If you look across our job site, I would wager that 70 per cent of the workers on this job site are from the surrounding three or four counties.”

Elsewhere in the NFL the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills are all in the process of, or recently completed, major construction works.

The Cincinnati Bengals are currently rolling out a phased series of works, while the Washington Commanders are building a new stadium that will allow fans to see the US Capitol building through one end of the arena.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
